HEBREW CURRICULUM

Aleph Champ Reading Program
Our students learn to read and write Hebrew using the acclaimed Aleph Champ Program; a karate motivated system where reading levels are divided by color and students move from the level to level, color by color at their own pace. At our Hebrew School, Hebrew reading becomes FUN.
Aleph Bet Puzzle
Our Pre-k & K students learn each letter of the Aleph Bet with song, puppets and hands-on activities. Each child creates his / her own puzzle to take home & treasure.
Hebrew at Home
Hebrew at Home is an optional mid-week 15 minute 1-on-1 Zoom session offered to help our students review and hone the Hebrew skills they learned that Sunday in Hebrew School.
Hebrew Vocab
Our students are exposed to the Hebrew language and learn 100 words to add to their Hebrew vocab. We celebrate our achievements with our exciting Hebrew Vocab BEE.
עברית למתקדמים
Students who are fluent in the Hebrew language will delve into Torah text & experience advanced levels of reading, writing and communication with song, games, and motivation.

“Mitzvot I Can Do” program.
Each child will bring home an adorable “Mitzvot I Can Do” book.
First Grade – Kitah Aleph
Our 1st graders learn how a Torah is made, and experience the timeless stories of the first book of the Torah, Bereishit / Genesis. Through drama, art, and cooking, these stories come alive. Each child will create a “Torah Scroll”, a lasting gift to treasure.
Second Grade – Kitah Bet
Our 2nd graders delve into the 2nd book of the Torah, the book of Shemot / Exodus. They explore the early days of our people and internalize their learning with games, crafts, and lots of creativity. Each child will create a unique and special photo book of their Torah experience.
3rd Grade – Kitah Gimmel
Our 3rd graders explore a typical house and discover how to turn it into a Jewish home. Each room is filled with Mitzvot, lessons, hands-on discovery, excitement, art and STEM activities.

Fifth Grade – Kitah Hay
Our 5th graders will take our interactive “Jewish Lifecycles” curriculum and travel through the Jewish milestones, from birth through the afterlife.
